Online tool dictionaries#
- OJAD Online Japanese Accent Dictionary An online accent dictionary for Japanese teachers and learners, supporting over 9,000 nouns, over 3,500 verbs, i-adjectives, na-adjectives, and over 40,000 pronunciations. It can even be searched by textbook category. The downside is that it requires a good network environment and is only available as a web version.
- Koujien Free Search An online Japanese dictionary website that allows free searches in many dictionaries, including Koujien, Daijirin, Daijisen, Shinjirin, and Shougakukan Chuujijiten. The website also supports Google login, and the data is stored in the user's Soradict folder in Google Drive. The interface is also very clean.

- mirigana adds furigana to Japanese tweets
- Userscript Katakana Terminator adds English translations to loanwords in web pages.
Japanese learning apps#
- Moji Dictionary A tool for looking up words, with sentence analysis, part of speech classification, pronunciation, etc. The downside is that only members can view word conjugations, cloud word libraries, etc.
- Hujiang Xiao D Dictionary, simple but with many ads
Online translation#
Japanese grammar check#
- enno.jp is a tool that provides online Japanese grammar checks.
